Destination Kefalonia

At a small scenic village found about one kilometer away from Sami you can find another one of the strange phenomena of Kefalonia. In a small circular lake found at one end of Karavomilos village, the water from Katavothres found on the other side of the island ends up after following a subway itinerary that lasts 14 days. After going through Melissani lake it ends up in Karavomilos lake and from there to the sea. The landscape is truly magic, the vegetation that surrounds the lake creates peace and beauty while the ducks swimming around add liveliness to it. Right next to the lake there is a canteen and a few meters further down there is a beach with pebbles where you can combine your visit to the lake with a visit to the sea.
