Agios Thomas beach

Agios Thomas beach

This beach has been named after the small church found in the area. You can get there driving through Karavados village. It consists of two smaller beaches surrounded by rocks.
On the first beach you can find a picturesque little tavern and a bar. It is also known for its sensitive ecosystem. If you walk towards its west end you will see strange shapes formed by fossil seaweeds and big pits filled with water where various forms of life have been developed.
Before you leave do not forget to visit Karavados village, one of the most beautiful in the area. If you take a walk around you will get to admire the old houses and the impressive church with the intense red colour.
